Evening guys,

Having water cooled my cpu many years ago I want to now add a water block to my new but noisy 1080ti but unsure which one to go for.

Im not bothered about cosmetic looks or LED lighting, I just want it to be a painless as possible knowing im not too confident about messing with a £700 item I could brick.

Also my current setup uses 12x8 compression and barbed fitting but I cant see any of those sizes on the website, would 11x8 be ok or is it not compatible with my setup?

Thanks.

Cheers for the replies. I have a Palit FE card from OC when it was first releases a few months back. The one above should do, nothing fancy but I do want the transparent one which is pre order lol.

Cheers Robbie, can I ask what are the differences with the one you linked too and the other at about £125? is it just the RGB lighting or do they perform better? and are either ok with a copper rad/system?

I'm assuming you are talking about the phanteks blocks for £125. There are a few little differences. The main one is RGB functionality. The blocks also work with the original backplate of the card and with the EK blocks you need to buy one for £25. They also have better orings and better flow rate however they perform roughly the same.

Both EK and Phanteks work perfectly in a copper system.

Cheers Robbie, I've gone for the one you linked to originally, with the matching back plate and a few connectors to help my pipe routing. Might need a quick Dutch courage drink before I go at it mind.
