I'm looking for an aftermarket cooling solution for a ridiculously loud 2900XT, and am considering water, just for the GPU, with possible future CPU upgrade (if I can be bothered to dissassemble the lot again! :) ).

Are there any water cooling solutions for this card which handle RAM cooling as well? I wouldnt want to leave that out would I... (I don't know much about this though, correct me if wrong).

If not, how about for the 8800 GTS cards instead, same question?

Thanks :)

i got swisteck water cooling with gpu block i try to water cool mine but its says it is for 8800gtx but there things for ati cards not sure if the small radiators will fit mine ram doing this weekend

dangerden are making ATI 2900 blocks they wasn't out a few weeks ago when I checked but they had gone in to production but they do have the maze which will fit over the core but not the ram.

If you can wait a little while the new block they are making will cover Core and ram chips :)

EK have a 2900XT waterblock out now, which covers the whole card.

Nope, there are a few retailers of AC equipment here in the UK, but obviously I cannot mention them. Or, you can do what I do and order direct from Germany.

I don't think it's necessary to cool the ram with those waterblocks personally.

I use blocks that just cover the core, because they're cheaper, and you can use any block that can be secured to your card. The most I would do with the memory is apply those little self adhesive heatsinks.

You should still have some airflow through your case, even if only a little, and I've never experienced any issues doing it that way.

Those full cover blocks look nice, I'll give you that, but they are just not necessary IMO.
