WHat water block can i use for an I7 on my thermaltake case with built in watercooling?

Can I unscrew the barbs and use them on any suitable block?

Thermaltake is generally not well regarded. Depending on the rest of your water-cooling an I7 might overwhelm it. I suggest you check out the Thermaltack range and see if they have a block that will match the rest of your kit.

I know the Tai Chi isnt well regarded but its had my q6600 at 3.6ghz for over 18 months no problems, I think it can cope compared to most air coolers np as I only cool the CPU.

I just need to know what block is a good option really... got an I7, 6gb ram and Giga mobo sitting here waiting to get going xD

Definitely ;)

GTZ or Fusion V2 are about top of the line but will have to grab a hold down plate for them.

Thanks guys, if I unscrew the silly size barbs from my tai chi waterblock, will they screw straight into those blocks?
