hey guys! simple and fun one again :D

was humming away today whilst strolling around the place mindlessly and thought to ym self "hmmmm, im bored with my plain water colour"

i have a Lian Li PC A10B case (brushed black aluminium case) with a custom window on its right panel (normal side) and my 1/2" Danger den water set doesnt have any colouring! i have got 2x 12" uv cold cathodes in there and silent fans (no led's, not a massive fan of eye busting brightness, just glowing :p )

SO! the queation is, what goes best with a matt black case? it has to be uv reactive, and there is no limit on colour! go crazy

thanks, ags

Red in my opinion.

Silver case = blue lights.
Black case = red lights.
Champagne or beige = green lights.

I would say blue, but ive also had red and green in a black case.

Its totally up to you search in the watercooled case gallery until you see a colour combination that takes your fancy.

Any colour works with black IMO. Another reason why black is better than silver Yewen. ;) :p I agree that black and red looks very nice, but unfortunately red often comes out looking more pink with UV dyes, cathodes etc. Persoanlly im going with 'Invisible blue' UV dye in my V2000B.

I have used both blue & green with black cases,

I use;
Aqua-Computer FlowMotion (blue)
Aqua-Computer GlowMotion (green)

they are both nice in their own way.
But under UV the green wins for me

BAH!

You know its silver for the V series, black for the S80, either for a PC7+ although the silver case is slightly more durable.

I think its up to personal choice. I have had Black Vs & Silver Vs, I prefer the black, but thats just me.

i know black is the most fav colour for cases, but i should let you lot know, i have decucted a colour from my list, which is blu, its to bland, plain and boring.

im thinking red/green now.

yes there is!

blue often looks too pale, red is nigh on impossible to manage and and the rest of the spectrum is barely covered!

I'd say blue AND red but then I would :p

lol!! youve clearly had the same problem and thought about this a lot.

well me and my close lesbian chums at the bar last night were talking about it. and the answer which we cam up with was a very deep red with no other glow's in the case, ie. Case fans with leds, cold cathodes (apart from the uv ones)

so the glow would only be comeing from my mouse, keyboard and pipes. atm i have the diamondback (blue glow) and the eclipse board (red) and a full on deep red glow would look awsome. Im going to use red UV reactive tubeing which ill install next month and stick some seriously strong red uv die in with 2 UV cathodes.

ill get some pics up in march when i get my camera back from the repair shop.

Red is very nice but a pita to get right. You have the right idea in using uv reactive tubing. Seen some orange UV dye which I might try in my next loop :)

i wonder if anyone has done the outragious and used green uv reactive tubeing with red uv dye?

anyone? lol, could be interesting
