water cooling I7

I have a Q6600 at the mo on a 775 board, the water block sits on the CPU and is held in place by a H bracket that pushes in the board (the same legs as a stock 775 cooler). I'm upgrading to an I7 this week but not sure if my cpu cooler will fit as the I7's are larger and if I replace it how do they fit to the board, all the ones on OCUK I have looked at < £45 dont show the mountings.

any advise?

Depends on the block. Some blocks can use replacement fittings without changing the actual block.

new processor new block i say sell the old block and get new fancy one
