Hi guys now i mite just be hitting a bee hive with a very big stick here and stirring up a whole load of controversy but who cares :D, after having a freezer 64 pro and overclocking my opty i have got load temps of around 41c.

I have wanted to go water cooling for so long, but now with the high standard of air cooling products out is it really worth the money? as i have seen water cooled setup's with load temps around the same?

Please give me a insight into this, also if you could post your clocks, cooling and temps? :D thanks guys

hmm this is stiring up a cufuffle, well if i was to go water it would probably cost somewhere around the £150-£200 mark as i'm going custom, do you think this is justifyable?

good shout dutch guy, i'd also be interested in this, i think that while idle temps are near enough the same (possibly slightly better on water) load temps will show a smaller increase with water than with air, i think. someone correct me if i'm wrong?

very true, not sure what kind of temps the ocz comes with though :S, i'm really tempted to pick up a vapo ls or promy mach1 cheap then get the chilly1 conversion on it :D will save myself so much money and have a near enough future proof cooling solution

hmm am really interested in this now, has anyone used or using the vapo full system cases ie. XE2, se, pe editions? thinking of making the leap from air to vapo! water just doesn't seem beneficial at the minute, mite even pick up a cheapish watercooling kit and have it on my gfx card and northbridge, and then have my cpu vapo'd :P
