coolermaster Aquagate ALC-U01 was thinking of getting that as it seems simple and been recommended by friend but some els says its noisey (pump), but its looks like an good all in one unit (keep me 3800 X2 cool when oc's other user who is useing it says he getting 2.7 out of it handleing it fine)

other one has been the Alphacool all in one that bolts on to the back of the 120mm hole in the back of the case not sure about that one

good thing with this one is that it sucks air tho the front of the pc and no more holes need to be made

trying to get this item now but some one els beat me to it heh

ive used this one before twice now, on silent it kept the 6600 @3.6Ghz 71 degrees on load on speed 1!

on 1st settings its very quiet, on 2 its too loud, forget using 3 its like a hoover. And between the settings its only like 6-8 degrees difference.

I would honestly keep away from it purely because its a fiddle to setup & use.

Has a PCI slot controller, with a thick lead connecting it to the front part + it powers from outside the case. So can look a real mess when setup.

If the coolant temperature gets too warm it beeps like mad, ive had to fill it a couple of times in the month it was used. (no it wasnt leaking lol)

However it is really cheap for a watercooler and id say performs like a top end air cooler.

tbh i dont see much point is just cooling the CPU with water cooling, the money you outlay doesnt justify the cost of w/c unless your cooling the GPU as well.

A good air cooler like the Ninja with a slient fan will do just as good for way less cash

just thinking this will not fit on an AM2 mobo as it looks like it uses the 2 holes to fit it (need to buy an water block i guess)

well this coolermaster kit as as cheap as the top end air coolers.

your right, i didnt know it had dropped in price so much but i'd still go with a heatsink+fan, less hassle but then again its up to you. It will give you the lower temps your after
