Check on a water cooling idea

1st off this would be a total new build from sratch and ive got a 24" montior so resultion of 1900 x 1200 and i have the keyboard and all bits so its just the case an interals.

Bascily it would be a i7 2.66ghz over clocked to 4ghz on a rampage extreme then ether add a water cooled BFG 295 or 2 275s.

Anyway thisi s how i wanted to do it and see if itsa good idea.

Use external Zalman Reserator XT Hybrid Liquid Cooling System byth4e side of the pc not on top of it then do this loop also add 1 120mm raditor which i will detail in the loop.

Frem the
Zalman Reserator into the case -> To the i7 --> Then up to the top of the case were a 120mm raditor will take the space of 1 of the spare fan spaces --> then to the north bridge --> to the grafix card --> then back out to the Zalman Reserator.

To do this i would use a case with that kind of space up top ether a Zalman GS1000 Chassis, Antec 1200 or a Corsair Obsidian 800D.

would this idea work ? ps i can use a bigger raditor after the CPU if needed the idea is so ther is heat loss after the CPU that willthen go into the north bridge and then GFX cards.

Also as im here i may aswell also ask aboutthe bundles that come with overclocked likethe rampage with 2.66 overclocked to 4.00 is the large fan really big enough to take the heat and such ?. so are fan assisitant heat sinks really good enough ? if i jsut kept that.

Quality air cooling with 120mm fans is enough to deal with i7 @ 4Ghz
Just check out the case gallery.

You will hear the fans - but most stock gpu cooler are still noiser when gaming.

i7 and hot gpu's are more that a single Reservator can deal with.
you could get two second hand Res1+ and an external pump (for less the a Res XT new) and this would work. But you will need to do some small mods

Personally I'd stick with air - get a really good cpu cooler, aftermarket gpu cooler and top end fans (and controller) - and spend £100 of the £200 you saved on quality headphones :D

Slient high end gaming is expensive and somewhat pointless.

I have seen people cool ther pc by placing it in mineral oil how ever i dont think many companys will have warrenty for that aswell as upgrades may b harder :).
