You'll likely get a mixed bag of answers beyond the early days of leak testing and monitoring. Some ppl advise and do redo their loop fairly regularly while others simply leave it till the next upgrade/rebuild.
There are good reasons for regularly dissasmbling to check for growth and blockages, corrosion or damage of any kind, but then a well built sytem shouldn't really have any. Ofcourse you won't know till you check. It may be one of those things to do after your first set up, a time down the road to check all is ok. But it is tedious so you wont want to do it often.
I personally don't do any regular maintainance. I set it up and leave it till the next component swap and even then I often cannot be botherd to dissasmble fittings and blocks. (Easier since I got QD's as I dont have to swap the coolant, sort of, theyre not 100% perfect). Id say I do a complete rebuild every 1-2 years, but I have had WCing for a while, so I am faily confident my components are doing fine.
About the only thing you do need to do is check on coolant levels every now and then (typically a cpl months). With a res this is easy enough. Tube clouding might make it less obvious on a T line. Water gradually evaporates away, whether very slowly through the tubing or a harmless microleak somewhere.
Oh and radiator fluff, but thats mostly aesthetic if youve got ample radiator capacity. Its worth checking up on temps every now and then also. It can be indicative of a prob developing.
