Hey guys,

Finally got the Pc i'm happy with for the enxt few years (almost) but am in need of some serious help when it comes to cooling.
Until now i've always used air, but i'm looking to get into water cooling, problem is i have no idea about it

Here's what i understand: every component to be cooled needs a plate, i also need a pump, radiator, reservoir and a lot of tubing.

But i've got a few requirments that complicate things for me, mainly that the tower needs to be mobile (ish) and so the cooling system needs to be internal.

Current system: 17 950, asus x58 MOBO, GTX 460 (possibly 2 in sli)

It's only the i7 and the 460(s) i'm interested in watercooling but i have no idea where to start, or how effective internal liquid cooling is compared to air?

Help?

Thanks for the link, much reading to do it seems, budget will be around the £300 - 500 mark, the closer to £300 the better though

Hi mate, as you're very new to watercooling, I'd just suggest reading and reading as much as possible, there's loads of guides that are just a google away. This will give you an idea about what you need to do and what kit to get. Then if you still have questions, we're here to help you :)

Look through the watercooling build logs on here (Centurion's is a good one as it's got lots of good detail) you're bound to find something that'll help/inspire in amongst that lot - I know I have! Just need the money to move forward with my thoughts now! :)

Thanks for the good ideas all!

Have started doing some reading, lots of interesting things out there it seems, this is goignt o take some serious thought!
