Water cooling project

yeh i could but ive got to do it while missus is away....so time is tight, might just WC the CPU to start with and prehaps add a second loop with a TFC 120.1 RAD for the GPU over xmas break :)

I know how you feel mate - i have to do all my geek related projects while the misses is away :P

well ive done it...and had a ******* nightmare tbh.
temps are not much better than the TRUE and ive destroyed a 4870 in the process...but hey it looks sexy and my E penis has grown a couple of inches :)

dont know it just died, no leaks, no obvious problem just wouldn't work with water block on (it was the right 1!!) took the water block off still wouldn't work no signal coming out :( tbh its been a bit flaky recently so i think it was on its way out, mainly due to some excessive O/C with a incorrectly fitted HS a couple of months ago.

i can use a thinnish RAD either the swiftech, XPSC or the black ice? which one is best?

I've got the triple rad version of the Swiftech and am very happy with it. It was cooling an Opty 165, nbridge and gfx for a couple of years and it was great.

ive fitted the double swiftech and its just cooling the CPU and its a bit cooler than my TRUE push/pull at full (1900 rpm) wack, ive just got to shorten the 2 tubes going to my pump then i will post some pics :)
