Hello guys,

I'm looking to move from Air cooling to Water cooling, I have a I5 2500K, and running x2 Nvidia470GTX in SLI,

As I'm new to this Water cooling I thought first I'd water cool the CPU then a month or so later then look to add the GPU to the water, Is is possible to add to a water setup or do you have to get them all done in one go??

Also can some please give me direction on what I would actully need to buy as I have no idea.

Many Thanks

Water can be good for two reasons, you can have it set up to cool really well and achieve high overclocks, or you can set it up to produce much less noise, however its not cheap if youre buying everything new and there is a lot of maintenance (every 6 months or so you have to drain and refill loop and can need a new pump every 12-18 months) If youre asking these sorts of questions I strongly advise you do a LOT more research before going for it, you need to have a good understanding before taking the splash (no pun intended)
Have a read round in the cooling forum, therell be lots of links in there too
But to answer your questions
Yes you can add to the loop later, however to run a cpu and 2 gpus youre either going to need one very good loop or two separate loops, either way youre going to need a case geared towards WCing that will allow for lots of radiator surface
And te things you need are basically, pump, radiator, reservoir, fans, blocks, tubing, connectors, fluid (distilled water + coil is prob best)
