Hi there I'm debating about installing a water-cooling kit. What I would like to know is, how much maintenance is required once it's all fitted? And what kind of benefits will i see with the noise? will i still hear it? I'm using a high end air cooler at present with a silent fan. Think the majority of the sound comes from the graphics card. But it still annoys me! If I do go "water" I'd buy a hydro edition graphics card.so a gpu block won't be needed! Could you spec me a list of the parts required please. I've seen a video of a level 10 gt cyber power pc and the way it's all built is something I'd like to replicate! Think the radiator needs to be 240mm not 360mm thanks, I'm buying a thermaltake level 10 gt and the rest of my specs are as sig.

Thermaltake are not the best to be honest. Any water cooler will tell you that. And to say you sent a lot on a good rig i wouldn't spoil it with a cheap kit. Get a custom one. It is more but better cooling looks better and more than likely quieter because its going to cool your system better.

If you want me to spec you up a custom kit i can do that. Well can tell you what parts on my phone

were in Manchester are you. Im from rochdale

I asked for a rough price from a guy in my local store, he said I'm looking around 400 which I would spend if there was a big difference in temps and more important SOUND lol. Plus also I think they look really good some of them. Was wondering about the maintanence side and risk of leaks?

Might find it hard to find a block for that card. Also they are loud cards might be better off selling that and get a 480 or something. Would get a little performance boost for only a little extra cash

If £400 is a max figure then il definatley go for it

This is what i would get you might need to change a dew bits and bob

swiftec d5 pump
rx360 rad
yateloons 2200rpm fans with a lamptrum fc2 fan controller
Ek cpu block
ek gpu block
swiftec micro res
7/16 tubing with 1/2 barbs

there the parts i would buy and with out check prices that's under 400 and a good bit of kit.

Its what i have lol

If you need any more help let me know. You will not be disappointed with any of them parts. You might need a different res depending on your case or a smaller rad.

You can spend more or the fans but there cheap and do the job. There loud without the fan controller as well so you could get the slow ones

Don't bother with the 'hydro edition' cards. Get a normal card and slap a EK full cover on it. An alternative to the Yates are the Gentle Typhoons which are recommended.

There good fans but more than twice the price. But if your willing to spend all 400 get them.
I would also just get a full cover block cheaper and better

The only reason I was thinking of gettin the hydro versions was so I didn't damage the gpu! But if it's only like fitting a CPU aftermarket cooler then il be confident enough. The EVGA hydro 2 *** cards are supposed to be hand picked to make sure there the very best. But if the ek block perform the same for a lot less then I would probably use them

I can't see them hand picking them.its exactly the same as putting a cooler on. And probably 100 cheaper
