Greatly appreciate some advice on my proposed first water cooling spec. Ideally I want to order today. It is going in a TJ07.

Does this fit together? Will there be any problems with different materials causing electrolysis? Do I have sufficient barbs at the right sizes? Do I need any more monitoring equipment ie a flow meter/alarm?

I intend to start with one loop res- pump-cpu-gpu-rad -res

Swiftech Storm G4
EK FC8800GTX with Reg Cooler - SLI Prep'd, Acetal Top
Laing DDC 3.2 Ultra with Plexitop
ThermoChill PA120.3
G3/8" O-Ring seal to 1/2" HoseBarb x2
Additional Clamp for EK Reservoirs
EK Multi-Option Res400 Rev2
Brass T-Line Plug
1/2" T-Piece
ThermoChill PS120 Performance Shroud (Black)
Shroud
!0 ft of 1/2" ID Tygon R3603 Tubing
Worm Drive Hose Clips 6 10mm to 16mm
FluidXP+ EXT (32oz) X2
1/4" BSP PerfectSeal 1/2" Fitting X2
4 pack of SelfTapping Case Thru Fan to Rad Screws x3

Total £362.54

Plus a Nexsus Prolong and a Thermaltake CL-W0033 T-type Water Temperature Indicator.

Thanks in advance

That seems expensive, even if it is top end parts. The Storm block is a bit dated now. Go for a Fusion or an Apogee GTX, and add some Yate Loon fans.

Fluid XP bumping the price up I guess. Distilled / de-ionised with addative will save ~£50

You have both a res and a t-piece/plug, normally use one or the other.

Performance shroud not really required on PA rads, very little gain.

Not sure what the TT temp probe is made of but the other parts listed will give no gavanic corrosion potential.

If you need the temp probe, keep it on a branch to the res / t-line off the main flow path to minimise the major flow reduction that will ensue.

You could connect the RPM wire from the DDC pump to a fan header and enable an alarm for it if required.

You will need to clarify what fittings are supplied to check you have sufficient quantities.

Thanks - I soon decided to go for distilled water plus an addictive.

Swopped to a D tek FuZion.

wanted Loons one seems to have them in stock so as I have loads of spare fans I will wait for them.

I think everything comes with suitable barbs except the Rad - hence just the two.

The T line is for emptying.

Thanks for the info about the CPU fan header I was wondering about by passing that.
