Hey guys I'm thinking in going into water cooling...
I've just assemble a new rig...Seen my post here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18073049

Ummm I'd like to have a rad mounted inside... Is it possible to mount a 280 rad where there are the 2 140 mm exhaust fans ?
Ummm the res I want a bay res to make things easier for me ..I saw this one on Ocuk ... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-009-XS

Umm tubing 7/16 inch with 1/2'' barbs .... Sugest me waterblocks and other things for a complete system eee btw the pump I saw was laing DDC ultra 18 W but i think the 10 w version is enough ( cpu loop only )

I think it might be helpful just to post the rig in here as well, depending on what look you want, most blocks have Acetal or Acrylic tops (black and transparent respectively) This is not important to the performance, but if you look at different blocks, the main parts are made out of either Aluminium or copper, do NOT mix the two as it'll cause corrosion

This is about it for my expertise on liquid cooling, other than make sure to get more coolant than you need, because if you buy some thinking "It'll just be enough" I guarantee that it won't, not from a WC perspective, just that sod's law is bound to apply

I have the PC-P50B and it really is'nt that good a case for an internal watercooling setup. You can't fit a rad in the roof as the fans are already close to the top of the motherboard. The best place would be in the front. You could fit a 120.2 in there easy enough. That would leave 3x 5.25" bays free although a bay res and your DVDRW would take up a pair of those and you would then have to find somewhere for your hdds. Most of my loop is external in a rad box.

The best cpu block is the Heatkiller 3.0.

So here are some new pics showing the case internal...Where do you recommend to mount the rad the the water cooling setup :)

Maybe the hardware labs 280mm rad fits on top ....

Suggest :) I'm crazy to make this pc a beast :p anyone?

I still don't know what the components you're using are, as you don't appear to have written it anywhere. At the least, what case is that? It doesn't look remotely well set up for water cooling, but perhaps it is.

If you want to make water cooling easy for yourself, stick with air.

Go to the thermochill/feser website, look up the dimensions of the radiator and then hold a tape measure up to your case too see where you can fit radiators.

Why do you want to water cool your computer? What specifically are you trying to achieve and how much can you spend to get there?

Hey I found this

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-014-FO&groupid=962&catid=1523&subcat=

Can I use to mount to the back of the 120mm case fan (with the barbs facing out then i will have space to curl the tubes into the watercooling hose)

CAse is this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-159-LL

I think i'm gonna go with the EK spin bay res http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-036-EK
Waterblock this I think : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-000-EK

Anyone likes my idea ?

May I refer you to this useful thread on the subject.

I chose to ignore it as you failed to tell us what components you were cooling or tell us why you wanted to use water cooling in the first place. Or tell us a budget. Or whether you're willing to cut up the case. I don't think you answered anything we asked for. Not bothering to put [ /img] tags around the photos probably didn't help.

You said you wanted the radiator internally. Then asked about mounting it outside the case. If you've seen any photos of water cooled computers you'd know that this is hardly a unique idea, swiftec make radboxes that would work better than a shroud for this.

Do some research into this in order to ask useful questions. Since you are unwilling to do this, and unable to ask anything sensible as a result, we can't help, and this thread will be just as ignored as the last one.

Example. Here is a thread by dekez, which you should have read as it's about a topic you're interested in, on the same page as this thread, and is a good example of someone who actually researched things then asked questions to which there are useful answers.

Lets make things clear....I don't have space to mount the rad inside so i am going for outside mount, am cooling a 965 AMD cpu
budget don't care ..... Tell me other things you need to know pls :)

I have the same case as you for my new build I am gradually purchasing and I plan on fitting a 240 rad internally. I will lose my HD bays but I have an SSD and 2 2.5 inch notebook drives that I have an idea for mounting inside so it can be done without cutting up that case

Find an adaptor to mount your HD in the 5 1/2" cages, cut out the lower cages with a dremel... Mount the rad in the front vertically... Then get an DCC pump with an XSPC Res top in the bottom...

Or, looks from the pics like you could mount a slim 240 rad at the top with the fans outside the case?? Like a stealth gt or somethin...

No no Look guys i'm going for the outside mount with that swiftech radbox rev2 and a feser 240 mm mount to it.....2 noctua NF-P12 fans mounted to the rad ( already bought :P) , an EK spin bay res , EK full copper waterblock, AM3 plate kit for mounting it to the cpu and mobo, DDC 18W ultra pump with alphacool top,Primochill Pro LRT tubing 7/16'', Primochill ICE performance fluid (clear no dyes),bitspower black fittings 7/16'' .......
Which is the best block out of these : Alphacool HF 14 Yellowstone - B / R / B - 754/939/AM2+/AM3
EK-Supreme Universal CPU - Plexi Inc 775/1156/1366
HEATKILLER® CPU Rev3.0 754/939/AM2 Water Block
EK-Supreme LT AMD - Plexi (754/939/AM2+/AM3
Pls answer the questions :) thanks :P

You dont need a dremmel to cut anything. Reomve the HDD cage and the seperator which splits the bottom two sections so you have 1 six bay section, plenty of space for a 240 rad :) I am going to use a 5.25 to 2 x 2.5 bay converter to mount the 2 notebook drives and look at this post to see how I am going to mount my SSD ;)
