Im looking to maybe get a water cooling system, but I have a few things I want to clear up before I part with my money :). At the moment I currently run an AMD 64 3200+ 939 socket cpu with a ATi x850XT gfx card.
I am looking for a decent water cooling system for this system but if im going to buy one I would like it to be able to run on a new system if I got one. Im not up on water cooling or previous cooling systems etc so im a newb in this area.

I would like one that will run on this current setup and also on a new system, a directx10 card and upto date cpu (not sure which one I would get).
Which one has new blocks available, I seen zalman released a block for a certain cpu, do they do this for many new ones?

I am looking at the zalman reserator1 plus which supports my 939 and gfx cards which have bracket holes (dunno if my x850xt has these :/).
Is this a good system? worth the money? or any better ones?

The main point im gettin at is if I buy a water cooling system now and then update my pc in 6months or so will it be useless?

sorry for being so vague/noob
thx
Mike

what do you mean by high performance kit? I want water cooling mainly for the silence and to maybe overclock in the future. Im just trying to broaden my horizons abit since I have never had a water cooling system nor have I overclocked anything before (im scared I break it :D)

thx
Mike
