Is there any1 who can go through how to instal a water cooling system. If you have pics of your own that would be even better. From what i am reading, i get the impression installing one is very coimplicated. Plz help??
Which components are you thinking about cooling? If its just the CPU why not get a Corsair H50 fully contained unit - easy to set up and little to go wrong compared to custom set up). If you want to cool a gpu and or other components then you will need a custom set up or a kit for self assembly.
You need to have a check and see whether your case is suitable for a watercooled set up. Only some have sufficent space and mounting points for certain radiators (esp the larger ones which can take three 120mm fans)
Bear in mind that removing water blocks from graphics cards can be tricky and may give you trouble if you need to rma the card. There is plenty of advice on the net showing you how to set up a good custom system.
Personally I would suggest (if you want to get a full system) that you use 3/8OD (outside diammeter) tubing, compression fittings were possible and a laing DCC waterpump (with the XSPC top if it will fit in your case). I would also suggest a good 24he leak test (where the pump is running pushing your cooling fluid round the pc components but the pc itself is turned off)
Other people will give you different advice based on their experience but none will be able to give you a complete answer (or anytging near it) based on your spartan post.
I would say however that watercooling your pc with a custom set up is quiet a large undertaking not for the faint hearted! Something like the previously mentioned H50 may be a good place to start. You can have a look at my build log for my watercooled pc by clicking the link on the bottom of my post and the cases section of the forum is full of other watercooled build logs to get an idea if whats involved
The difficulty of the install greatly depends on the case and the parts you're trying to fit into it. If you have a large case which is built for water cooling (coolermaster HAF932/Cosmos s Lian li's etc) Then the majority of it is a breeze!
What case do you have and what is it you want to watercool? Also, do you want cooling for a large overclock or just for quieter cooling?
