Hi Everyone

i've decided to go H2O becasue i'm bored of loud fans and high temps.

My question is can you water cool a 3870x2 on *** same loop as everything else as my card gets up to 80c+ some days.

I've not looked at makes and moddles yet, just getting ideas first so any help advice on whats best would be great.

My plan is:
triple rad
CPU
NB
3870x2
pump
res
back to rad

also are the res's with pumps built in any good or a waste of money?

this will all be going in a new full size case, so space wont be a problem (again not sure what yet, but i've got a few on my short list) i should have about £500 for the whole job...!!

Thanks for any help advice.

Yeah you can put the card into the same loop as the CPU without any issues, providing you use a decent radiator.

And I would go for seperate pump and res (the little Swiftech Micro res is considered to be pretty ace).

Well my dual rad is cooling my quad @ 3.8Ghz to 65 degrees and keeping my 8800 GTS G92 at 43 degrees on the same loop so you should have no problems.

My Gts used to be very toasty as well.

And another vote for the Swiftech Micro, it's ace and a seperate pump is better IMO.
