hello
just upgraded my lads case to a Thermaltake VH600LSWA Armour(built in watercooler) also fitted the Scythe Kama-Meter Multi Functional Controller so we could keep an eye on the cpu temps
now on the meter the cpu temp shows at 37 but if we check in the bios its saying 54/55 btw cpu is a Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 LGA775 and its not overclocked....so what temp should we take note of???
also where are people fitting the sensor to get there temp readings??

cheers byeeeeee

forgot to add is there any software or any other way to get an accurate cpu temp reading

hello
just tested realtemp and it more or less gives same readin as the dials but nowhere near what the bios says

cheers anyway

has anybody realised this guy has said hes checking it in the bios, your cpu will be under load when in the bios so the chip will be running a lot hotter, use real temp or coretemp in windows for accurate figures
