Hi I have an antec 900 case and was thinking of water cooling the cpu can any one tell me the best kit for this case .. Thank you :)
 
hi cpu is sandybridge i7, not sure of case version but has the large fan on top two in the front and one in the side , not doing gpu at this time but in future if I can, £200 budget
 
Did you want a kit or did you want a "custom" setup ? what rad size where you looking at? did you want to upgrade in the future to gpu cooling too?

As for kits, any of these will meet your requirements however SOME of these kits come with what others would consider "inferior" attachments (IE: cheapy barbs to hold hoses on) and some HAVE experienced the hose flying off and drenching their rigs. My suggestion would be to enquire with others more in the know, as you may want to invest in some better fittings for these kits.

It will perform for your needs with ample head room and comes with standard WC fittings should you wish to upgrade in the future however you may need to add another pump in the loop somewhere

The difference between this and the other OCUK V8 kit is 140mm fans instead.


Some of these kits you might want to swap out the fans/fittings but overall they will all perform to spec, Some coloured fluids will cost you a little more but thats your choice.
Otherwise wait and see if someone can spec you a decent WC loop (Custom) for around your budget mark.
Do you have the fans for it already or will you need to include them?
 
If you case only has 1 x 140mm or 120mm top front or side you would be limited to that size of radiaitor remember you also have to take into account inner space e.g how much room there is from the top of you mobo to the top of the inside of your case and see what size rad would fit including say 25mm for the fans into account, if you find that you don't have much space don't worry you can get a new case and something like the h100i for 200 pounds. take some measurements and it will help us to advice you better :)
