Water + keyoard =

Right, spilt a glass of water over my keyboard last night. I have let it dry out in the airing cupboard overnight. Plugged it back in and it works.... except for a few keys on the bottom row.

zxcvbnm and alt all don't work. Anything I can do or is it dead?

I left my window open last couple of days ago, the sleep key stopped working (It was raining), its working now id just leave it

Ok, I will give it a bit longer, but it's my only keyboard atm. Maybe if I had a go with a hair dryer?

It's very annoying using the on screen keyboard for everything.

Take it to bits and check the contacts under the keys

It has been sat in there for a while now.

There is nothing physically stopping the keys, I took it apart and tried pressing them myself and the same characters don't work. I didn't want to buy a new keyboard yet, help!

Take the keys off & use a hair dryer on the coolest setting to dry it off.

seems like a load of people are dropping things down toilets and spilling things over their computers haha.
i left my window open a few days ago and my monitor got really wet when it started to rain =/

Use a hair dryer as people said if that don't work again take it apart
