needless to say, i have now got a water meter

Think I can beat it....

Moved in here in Sept. 4 Bed dettached house without a meter. £161.65 a MONTH! Queried it, tried to argue it with Wessex Water and get them to reduce the rate, but they refused unless I had a meter fitted. Meter has now been fitted, so I'm hoping it is a LOT less than that.

Think it's time I get a water meter fitted. £60.50 a month now, surely can't be that high with a meter.

I was pretty against them, but even with my wife’s long showers, watering the garden during the summer, filling the hot tub and washing the cars, it still works out cheaper. About £30 a month usually.
