If I bought that and a pump, simple and stupid question, but would I remove the CPU fan? Or does that lie ontop of it?

Not so worried about OCing as reducing noise (but I assume this is more efficient than the fan?)

you'd need that, a pump, fittings/barbs, hose, radiator and a res.

yes, you would ditch the cpu cooler.

you only really need to go water if you're clocking, no point if you're not. just set the cpu fan to run slower if it's noisy

Any horror stories of liquid spewing over the innards of a running computer? Is that rare?

had it happen to me, but it was my own fault for not inspecting the o-rings on the barbs (they looked old and knackered when i pulled it all apart).

killed a motherboard, and nearly a graphics card and soundcard. but they're both still running (if a little burnt

)

my advice would be to read as much as you can, so you know what to buy, how to put it all together etc and then plan your purchases.

take your time and don't be afraid to ask if you're unsure
