Water on Graphics Card

So this weekend I decided that it would be a good idea to drain and clean the loop.

During the draining process a few drops of water managed to land on the graphics card. I quickly dabbed up what I could (some of it got under the block cover).

I left it overnight to dry and got the hairdryer out and popped that on there for a few minutes.

However when I turned it back on the picture was displaying but there were lines across the screen.

Im guessing the card is completely fudged, but im just wondering if this has happened to anybody else.

Im not looking forward to replacing a £400 graphics card and an £100 cooling block.

You can buy them separately, the block instructions will tell you the dimensions you need.

Made sure no water got into the pci lane?

Thanks ill leave it in a warm place for a few days with my fingers crossed.

Yes I got a cheap card and popped it in the same slot and it works fine.
