WATER OR AIR CPU

Did you forget you posted that?

To anyone that understands the English language that's hinting at an untoward reason for the shorter warranty period, ergo an insinuation that Corsair are being less than forthcoming.

Every regular member on this forum knows you have it in for Corsair and every time you're challenged on it you go for the "You're picking on me" stance, which is childish and pathetic.

If you don't like being challenged then don't post. Simple.
I believe it more like every member knows what you trying to do with statements like above.

Hi all,system will be
4770k cpu
7950 gpu
16 g ram
Asus Z87-K mb
600 w ps.

my current system is a 2500k with a thermaltake frio air cooler i don,t really overclock just play games my temp on this system at idle range from 28c to 34c,under load using prime 95 my temps did,nt go above 60c (ran prime for 40 mins.
So my question is would you spend £40 on a air cooler or £90 on a h80i and would i get any better temps with the water system.
Regards Ady
Just wondering what you ended up deciding to do?

I just got a new 4770k system with a H80i, not liking the temps at all at the moment to be honest....hitting 85c in Crysis 3 at 4.5ghz 1.233v but i think the cooler might need reseating as the contact probably isn't good enough.(my room is 25c but still)

25c is not hot. I'm not up on what 4770 OC temps should be but seems high. H80 seems to be problematic with seating so that's probably the problem.

Taking the lid off would drop that down to 65! :p
