Water + PC = BADDDD :(

Basically had a drink on my desk, i knocked the desk and water went through the usb port hole which i had taken out the top of the PC, only a small amount got in but it landed on the graphics card and now wont boot at all...

I've basically came to the conclusion that its dead but is there any wayeersf possibly getting it to work again and also if any of the parts will be salvagable?

Any smoke or anything?

If you leave it to try out as long as it hasnt shorted anything it may well work again.

Nah no smoke, ive taken all the parts out... Suppose i just gotta wait it out.

Haha, best thing to wait for it to dry and hope.
My dad spilt a beer on my computer, i wasnt best pleased. But worked after a couple of days, but smelt kinda yeasty.

think the best thing is for you to do mate like quite a lot of people is have your pc on your desk so nothing like that can be spilt into it.

Putting a beverage into the object holder on top of an Antec 900 is a recipe for disaster
