I just accidentally sprayed a bit of liquid on my brand new LCD when I opened my drink, now its sort of smeared :( I know it sounds stupid but is there a particular cleaner that well work well to remove it?
Cheers

best way to clean an lcd monitor is with a lint free cloth, like the type used for camera or spectacle lenses

Only water? People clean their TFTs with water.

Give it a good even rub with a lint free cloth and it'll be fine.

Remember, keep the pressure on the area you're rubbing even!

I use stuff called 'Klear screen'. It sprays on and wipes off, polish and its good as new.

I'm sure it would get rid of your Fanta for you.

1. A wet sponge, wipe it all over with it
2. Use a fibre optical cloth to dry, you will only need to go over the screen is once, cos then the screen is very slightly damp and when it dries within a few secs it will leave your screen streak free.
3. If you want to make the scren look as good as new, just give it a good polish up wth the dry part of the fibre optical cloth. When I say polish, dont use polsh, just buff it up with the cloth

Then you have a pefectly clean screen, looking as good as the day you bought it.

These are the cloths I for my screen. The best ever for lcd monitors, they have a kind of clingy feeling on the skin, if you get me?
