Am I right in saying the only way to get good water cooling is to build the system yourself? If so...I don't think I'd have the patients to do that. At the moment I have:

V1000B+
2*120 stock fans
Scythe Kama
AF7 Pro

At the minute my CPU's at 2.8 (E6300)/1.4125 volts. I'm idling around 45-50C and getting 58C in orthos. Should I bother changing anything? How hard is it to WC? Is it worth changing cases?

There are generally 3 types of w/c.

Kit
Custom component builds
Custom made.

Custom made is really time consuming so I presume this is what you mean by building a system yourself.

Custom component setups take only the slightest more effort than the decent kits. By a decent kit I mean one that doesn't come pre-sealed, they're normally complete trash.

I'd go for a swiftech kit, they're normally pretty good and easy to set up.

The thing is I don't want to have to start drilling and cutting - although I have used a drill before, I'm far from proficient in using one.

If you have a 120mm fanhole then you'll be fine with nearly every kit. The radiator simply screws into it.

If you've got a smaller 92mm or 80mm fan at the rear then you can use what's called a Rad box (might just be one word *Radbox*, not sure) which fits onto any size of fan bracket thingy and adapts it to a 120mm Rad fitting. Look it up!

Generally unless you've got a really old case you should be able to fit WC in it without any sort of drilling or cutting.
