Hi guys I'm having trouble locating a waterblock for my r9 280x msi card

Check ek config site but no luck

The model is 277-067

I'm told 7970 blocks fit as its just a rebranded 7970 anyway but cant source them either any help would be appreciated

Its custom pcb. Yeah look on ek website so universal block is only way to go?

What's best way to cool vrm ect with universal block?

Card isn't overheating or anything just have system on water and would like gpu as well looks more than anything I'm a neat freak and I'm doing a acrylic build want whole system on water

Is universal block and heatsinks enough? Or will I need fan on them too?? If so it defeats object slightly for me anyway I'm neat freak

Been talking to local chap today he had old msi card and he said I can send my card to alphacool and they will scan pcb and make block

Anyone done this?

A custom made block will cost you a fortune. If i were you i would go take the easiest and cleanest route. Sell the card and buy a reference, take a small cash hit to get it sorted out quickly, then you are free to use the full cover block.

You could even just spend a lil more and get a 290 considering how dirt cheap they are on MM.

Have been thinking this sell 280x

Second hand value?? Roughly
