ok, so the delta fan looks way way way loud, i dont mind noise but a 747 taking off is too much :)

so where is a good place to start, what will i need and are there any tutorials around?

any recomendations for the equipment, im running sli, wouldnt mind cooling those also :)
 
There used to be a great sticky in this forum. For some bizarre reason (why is a post all about Distributed Computing a sticky in the Overclocking forum?), it has been moved to the Archives here.

While some of the info is out of date and some of the links are dead, much of what is there is very good - particularly my bits :D

Also take a look through the gallery linked in my sig. It has been somewhat thread-bombed of late but many of the pics still work and will give some idea of what can be achieved. Then think of a budget, then post what you want cooled in what case and see what people can come up with. At the moment, your questions are too vague to get much help.
 
ok, i have a Silverstone Temjin TJ05 case, Asus Sli Premium, opty 165. 7800 gtx sli, would like it all cooled, money is not an option, takes as much as it takes :) , i just want a good kit :)

I have the old version of that kit on my Dual Xeon system, only on the CPU's though not the northbridge or Gpu. Very impressed with it, pump is so quiet you cant hear it, just one thing though my kit came with 2 Delta's for the Rad and a molex speed controller!! have to say they were not that noisy even on full tilt but i have taken them off now for 2 120 fans with mobo connectors so they will run as fast as needed. My system runs at 46deg C under full load (4x Seti@Home) dont know about idle its never idle :D
