Hello all, looking for some watercooling advice.

I bought a 2nd hand LianLi V1000 modded case 2 top holes, radiator with 120mm fans, and an Eheim 1048[DO NOT LINK TO COMPETITORS] pump.

I dont have any pipes or fittings or blocks.

I need to know what I need to get this running. I am completely new to this so any help on types of hoses, water, tools, blocks (should I get VGA, CPU & Northbridge ?), where to buy etc. would be a great help, along with recommendations to fasten the pump to the case.

I also saw a device for automatically turning on the pump when the PC is powered on. Is this a good idea, anyone using this ? Got a link ?

Am running Socket 754 A64, KV8 SE Deluxe and 6800LE gfx. Will be upgrading to E6300 / 7900GS in the new year.

Cheers. :)

I think you'd get more responses posting this in the overclocking & cooling forum mate :)

Clearflex is good tubing, when you find a shop that sells that they will also have jubilee clips to go with it.
If you have a pump and rad then you can get it running with only the addition of a waterblock & a t-line, unless you want a res in there also.
You'll be lucky to find recommendations of where to buy as competitors aren't allowed to be mentioned here.
A criticool relay card is a bit of a luxury - eheims are aquarium pumps designed for 24/7 running, I left my pump on constantly even when the pc was switched off (which wasn't that often).

Do some searches in the above forum, there's some good info in there, hth ;)
