here is the solution to the high temps on the 480 and every other hot card....
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. Personally I don't get the whole fanboy thing with graphics cards. Why would you form an emotional attachment to a company that sold you a graphics card any more that you would a washing machine or any other piece of kit?
The thought that somewhere there are forums full of flames and ranting in threads arguing Hoover vs Hotpoint for domestic appliances scares me![]()


That looks a great little system! I'm just not sure that little compact system would have the capacity to deal with a gtx480.
A 320 TDP load is a lot for a 120mm rad, TBH its a lot for dual 120 mm rad.

That's pretty good result tbh. I could live with 51C on furmark.
So £550 for a gtx480 plus waterblock. Hmmm...

The reason why I am going for a 480 is:
- Seems a fast card on virgin drivers, things can only get better and faster.
