Recently changed my loop/tubing/fluid from X1 blood red to the red pastel, still getting same temps as before, photos below :)

/\ Stunning job! Nice blocks! I'm running Ice White at the moment and like it a lot. Is it hard to clean out your system when you change coloured liquids? Or is it just a case or flushing with Distilled water for a few hours?

Wish you could still get hold of the EK Supreme HF CPU blocks. When i built mine recently it was either CSQ (Frosted Plexi Circles) or the old EK Supreme LTX that I manage to track down still for sale.

I have seen a blog where somone got a EK Suprmacy Plexi and sanded down the circles with wet and dry and polished it up so it looks like a Supreme HF. I am tempted to do this, but if it goes wrong its £55 down the drain. Just wish they still sold the HF.

Is that a 360 or a 540 rad ray168, and did you take the fan brackets out the bottom? (i did).

I'm thinking of going back to the FT02 but in Silver this time if i can find one in stock with a window, so that will be four Silverstone cases in a row - FT02B-W, FT03, RV02-EW and either FT02S-W or TJ08-E.

Hi there,
I took everything apart and flushed it all seperately and changed new tubing as my last one was staining badly, it did take a while to clean properly and put back together again.
I too prefer the look of the old EK plexi blocks to the new style ones, its a shame they don't release them anymore.
The raditor is a 480 i mounted it onto the back of the case with the tubing going through the bottom. The 3 180mm fans i left inside with the res and pump on top as it didn't effect it from working and it also helps with the coolings.
Thanks guys.

some amazing builds in here guys and gals

Love looking back at the first setups, how far we have come

i think these builds are no longer just builds but more along the lines of modern art!

Work in progress at the moment, need to clean up the fans (possibly paint them), fit the 2nd 670 block, get some new tubing, fittings and to order some new pastel red when it comes in stock.

That along with sorting out the rear cabling and i'm toying with the idea of getting a thicker 360 radiator for the top when I get the other 670 under water.

Quite impressed with the temps, GPU 1 sits at 35 full load and CPU is currently at 4.5GHz, 1.51v and hitting 61 degrees load. Considering I've come from a 360 and 120 radiator setup all inside a Lian PC-7 case temps are actually better!

Wanted a change, mainly because having the 360 inside the case meant I had no bays free for any devices (and buying a full tower case was an expensive solution) where as now I've got space for hard drives and a blue ray drive :)

Interesting = Fugly. :)

The internals are nice though - is that mayhems deep purple?... stuff using clear tubing though as it wont be long until it's white as milk.

Looks crap I know but temps are better and no need for a £140+ case :)

Nope, just EK plain with some red dye added.

Not had a problem with the clear tubing before, i'm using clear/UV at the moment and it's certainly not as clear as just clear tubing is.

1st attempt at watercooling.
