Watercooled Case Gallery

Always had the same issue with phone cameras as well hence why i don't use it anymore. Doesn't depict reality at all, especially when phones these days use image smoothing and other tricks but in actuality i think it makes the image look worse.

DSLR and a tripod with the correct settings everyday.

73c on the core seems silly high, you definitely want to take that apart to inspect. I've never had gpu temps higher than 50c and that's usually on a hot day with high ambient temp, something is amiss there.
Yeha I am running the GPU at 440W though and 2700mhz core which usually hits around 2625mhz... so, it's not standard... my problem is the difference between the core and the hotspot... deffo feels like there's some missing paste somewhere...
 
Finally replace my LittleDevil V8 that iv had for 12 years.

Im not happy with the fitting on the CPU but i didnt have what i needed to hand going to pick up 2 Barrow G1/4 Male Rotary to 360 degree Rotary 90 Female Angle - Black.

I build this having the case on a moving dolly makes working on these large case so much easier best £30 spent on this build.

Great work! Looks superb.

I 100% agree that having the right tools is massively worth it. A proper tube cutter rather than a pair of scissors, as an example, changes the game!

Redid loop and took out useless XD3 and corsair CPU block.

Ichill frostbite 4090
13700k with Alphacool core 1 block
Heatkiller tube
Corsair 280 and 420.
P14s in exhaust mode.

Fighting the urge to but an NV9 and a couple more 420s.
 
I think you're fine for capacity with that 420 in there.

But more would mean it's quieter... :D
Quieter is what I'm after.

If I'm using it as a render box it's more or less silent.
Long intensive gaming sessions and it's getting louder than I'd like, fans at 1300 to keep water at 40. The case has poor air flow.

I find myself between jobs for a couple of months and I'm getting twitchy.
I'm flip flopping between keep it and stick a mo-ra on it.
Stick it and the 420 in a P3 and attach a mo-ra to it.
NV9 or big 011 thing with more rad space.
mo-ra and some random case that takes my fancy at the time
mo-ra and an ancient case out the shed
or maybe go outside or something :)
 
Liking these black hoses that are doing the rounds these days. Some of these builds have me questioning if i should do a revamp of the old clear flexi hoses ive still got from like 6 years ago :cry:

The epdm tubing like ek zmt etc
Is great not only can look good
It bends better and doesn't leach plasticiser
Only thing with the ek version particularly
There's a 16mm x 11mm
And 16mm x10mm (actually 9.5mm)
The 11mm is way flimsier even though only 1 to 1.5mm
In difference between the 2
So need to be careful to get the right one
16mm x 11mm wasn't airtight on my 16mm x 10mm fittings

Whats the purpose of the rings on the tubing? Nice build though :)
 
Yeah it's a 3d printed "spine" guess could call it
To stop kinking on the bends
And partially stop the tubing drooping
On longer runs

Probably wouldn't have been required
If used the very slightly smaller fittings (16mm x 10mm)
and smaller zmt Diameter
Got both zmt here
And considering the tiny difference in mm
Ones pretty flimsy
Yet the others really robust

Differs between brands as well.
Watercools's 16/10 EPDM is floppier and shinier than the EK 16/10 ZMT.
Easier to get the EK torque fittings fully tightened with the Watercool stuff as well.

Yeah must admit
Got very little hand strength anymore
And tightening some of my quantum torque fittings
Was difficult
Should probably have put a bit of washing up liquid
On the tubing to help the collars go on easier
Don't actually mind the matt look of the zmt though
 
Done my rebuild in the new lian li sup-01 case, managed to squeeze in 2 xr5 360mm rads in the rear compartment, using a ek block/pump res to save on space and a refrence 7900xtx special edition waterblock, got some low profile fittings for the cpu block as the ones i have are too tall to install the glass (doh!) zmt throughout 10/13mm, any thicker it would have not fit, space is very tight behind the mobo.

loop order goes cpu, first rad, then to the gpu, back to the second rad and finally back to the cpu to start over again, i have to say i'm seriously impressed with how quiet the whole rig is, using noctua 120mm industrial fans and all 6 under idle are around 950rpm and under load get to around 1280rpm, cpu and gpu are lovley and cool (68c max for cpu and 48c max gpu) and remains very quiet, quirky design but hats off it does work a treat.
