Watercooled temps

Hi guy

I have a I7 2600K, and I have it water cooled, I would just like to check the temps, I get around 65 to 70 degrees C when using prime, and that's at a 4.6Ghz OC.

The only reason I'm asking is I have two 7970's and they are over clocked to the max allowed in CCC and they don't go above 50 normally about 40 an a full load. So could my CPU block be poorly seated or something? thought I'd ask before messing about with it

thanks all

How much rad space do you have?

iirc my 2600k @ 5ghz 1.4v was sitting around the high 50's low 60's under stress load.

CPU block is is EK Supreme HF Easy Mount Universal CPU Waterblock : EN Nickel Plexi, with Mayhem coolant, Sythe fans. everything seems good apart from the CPU temps. GPU temps nice and low, good flow in system also

Sounds like a bad seat or bad Tim application in that case, would expect temps to be lower with a supreme hf.

Well thats what I was thinking so thanks for the information, I will re-apply some paste and well reseat the block, when I get a moment and see how it goes
