Why do you need it quiet when you have the dolby 5.1 blastin in pgr3 ?

completely stupid tbh hardly practical is it, cant take it to ya m8s now and if u did u *** need a suitcase to carry it in. Most of the noise is from the DVD drive so hes managed to make it 1-2db less by not using the fans *claps* genious

Have you heard it? I would say it would sound much quieter, I was disgusted by the noise of the 360, it was like my Dreamcast, only worse. And this was with no DVD in the drive.

So what if it isn't portable, it isn't a handheld...
If people want to mod their 360's to be cooler and quieter then good on them, well done I say. The temperatures spoke for themselves.

Aye all of the sound from mine is from the DVD drive... same with my pc though...

Cant see a great benefit of watercooling... needless to say.. i wont be participating.

how can u be disgusted by the noise? On the dashboard the thing is basically silent unless ure sat on top of it!
