reserators suck end of

Lol funny man. Reserators are fine. It helps my x2 3800+ run at 2.85-2.9Ghz. I can up the voltage to just over 1.61v and load temps when running Orthos will peak around 60ºC.

Obviously the Reserators are not meant for serious overclocking or people wanting to push their system really far.

Reserators have their place. If you want a silent solution for a non-overclocked system then they are excellent. A PA120.3 is generally noisier than what it replaced as it adds three 120mm fans to any system.

Exactly and just to add they work fine when overclocking components as well. Imagine them if you will as comparable to high-end air cooling (perhaps a bit more with being water) but yet silent. :)

unless they can run at reduced voltage compared to the original system.

Even then I find that much air going hard up against the radiator is pretty noisy. And if you want to run a permanently fully loaded Q6600 at 3.8GHz+ then you need to move air - even with a PA120.3 in a cool room.

Agreed, but that must still be quieter than running a 120mm fan on a 120mm heatpipe-based heatsink at the same settings.
