Hi, i needed some advice. I wanted to watercool my pc, not for the sake of more overclocking but for more silence. At the moment i got 3 1200 sharkoons, at the front, back and top of antec 1200, and one xilence on the TRUE, all connected to a zalman mfc1. The xilence i keep on full (most quiet), whilst i keep the sharkoons on the lowest setting.

My temps at the moments are ranging between 42 and 39 idle, 50-60ish full load.

My leadtek 8800GT (of 1 and half years) is making the most noise.

I keep the pc about 2 foot away on my desk.

will watercooling make a difference in noise, and will it be possible to cool both CPU and graphics card with a £150 to £200 budget). if so, could you please spekkk meh.

Thank you

Drop the stock cooler back in your box (just incase of RMA)
And fit a Accelero S1 Rev. 2 to your 8800GT (£15 well spent)
Also bungee your HHD (£2 for elastic)

Only then if it's still to loud consider watercooling.

Get involved in the forum to up your post count - so you can use the MM (members market) to pick up a watercooling bargin. The sale of the TRUE and Accelero will pay for half of it.
