Thinking of watercooling the cpu in my rig in sig. Wondering wether to go for one of the kits that ocuk sell, or buy separate parts. I currently have 10x bitspower 1/2" barbs and 4m of blue masterkleer uv tubing, (7/16"). Which would mean id just need a pump, res, rad and a few fans. Could mount the rad in the top panel of the case. But id need to get it cut to suit. No intention of cooling the current gpu's as theyll be got rid off when new cards come out. Any advice/reccomendations on suitable kit.

Been looking at the following parts.

Pump

Cpu block

Rad

Res

Im looking to get the internals of the case powdercoated in black, at the same time i could get the top panel cut for the rad. Unfortunately lian li dont supply a top panel for this case, with anything more than a single cutout for a fan/radiator.

Parts are ok, but you could save money by:

Going for an alpha cool pump and top bundle
Going for a plexi top on the waterblock

What sort of noise levels do you want?

Noise wont be a problem as ill be using a fan controller. Scythe gt fans are pretty good. Ive used them on big dense finned cpu coolers where static pressure is important. Regarding the block, the full nickel HF looks beautiful. Looked at the heatkiller full coppper, but nickel looks better.
