Hi guys,

Can someone recommend me a MID sized case suitable for having a WC set-up.

I want a dual loop set-up probably a 2x280. or 1 x 280 and 1x360.

I was looking at the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX, which has some awesome reviews (I don't need a 5.25" slot)

can anyone recommend me anything better, My spec is in my sig, however it will be for a 970 or a 980Ti, not the 560Ti (lol)

Oh and I know 2 loops is overkill.

Price doesn't bother me I want the best case I can have, however I don't want to pay extra for gimmicks.

the Phanteks get legitimately great reviews so that was my first choice, I was looking at the 2015 version of the h440 but everyone says the cooling isn't great on them.

It has to fix an ATX mobo, and as detailed 2 rads + loops. 1 GPU only...

EDIT: thanks for the reply btw :)

Probably a bit late on this, but wanted to offer some advice :)

In my previous machine I had 2 loops, one for the GPU and one for CPU, yes, like you I knew it was overkill, but I just wanted to do it.

This was built into a corsair carbide air 540 which is a very spacious case, and I REALLY struggled for room. You don't realise how much 2 of everything take up!

My current system is in a h440. Yes they're amazing looking sleek cases, quiet, well built, but this time its a single loop with 2x 240mm rads in it cooling an i5 and a 980. Temps are good-ish because theyre under water, but loop idle temps of around 30c are far from ideal. Under heavy load, it only rises to about 43c (again, I'm talking water temp in the loop as measured by a Bitspower temperature sensor) which I'm fine with, but the idle temps are high in my opinion.

The case looks so clean, and the airflow path inside is good, but the vents on the case are way to small, even with 5 EK Vardar fans (proper radiator fans) running at full speed (2,200RPM).

I have ran smoke through the machine to check the air path is clear and it doesn't get stuck anywhere, all is good. Plus, as soon as I take the front and top panels off, the temps drop by 4-6c...

I just finished building a loop in a define s. Managed to get 2x xspc ex280 rads in, though had to slide the roof rad along a bit so only 6 screws are holding it.

All in all, I'm pleased with the ballance of a non huge case and cooling.

I've built a full loop into a H440 which I loved and then a hardline build in a Air 540 which was horrible to build in.

The H440 I loved doing and looked pretty clean too! Temps weren't too bad, topped out at 60c on the CPU with 4.8ghz on the cpu and then two 7970's. A 360mm and a 280 up top!

i vote for the nzxt h440 aswell, i own a fractal r5, its awesome really but it have a letdown when you put watercooler in the top the computer gets dust inside there's no filters

While it's not a mid-tower case as it's about 10cm wider and only takes a M-ATX board I suggest you take a look at the Thermaltake Core X2.

I recently moved from a Corsair 450D with a single 2 x 240mm rad loop to seperate loops for CPU and GPU with a 360mm rad each and it's by far the easiest case I've ever built a PC in plus with 3 x 140mm fans in addition to the 6 120mm's on the rads mean it's kept very cool and quiet even at full load.
