Hey guys,

Have posted in the case section as well, but i think its more relevant here

I have the following water cooling bits.

1x D-Tek FuZion Universal CPU Waterblock 1/2"

1x ThermoChill PA120.2 Dual Radiator 1/2" barbs below

1x Swiftech MCRES Micro Reservoir (easy way to top up and bleed the system) 1/2"

1x Laing DDC-1T 12V Pro Pump with XSPC Delta Plexi Top 10w version 1/2"

Now im looking for a large case that will fit this lot with little ie no modifications.

Would the rad mount with no issues in a tt mozart?

I had already bought a coolermaster cosmos, but that would need quite a lot of mods done to fit it all in, and dont want to cram it in. 1.2" piping doesnt really like sharp bends!! lol

Cheers

I already have the cosmos.

To fit a rad in the bottom you will have to hack out quit a lot of the hard drive bay, also you do realise that the case is steel inside.

If you hack out the lower drive bay the upper part will not be very solid, as thats an all in one construction so to speak lol.

I love the cosmos though, hence my home server is going to go into it as it will be silent.

Not worried on budget too much. As long as the case is good.

Thinking of the mozart at the moment though.

Edited lol put stacker instead of cosmos!! :(

lower hard drive stack slides out ^.^ also you can just cut a whole through the wall (marked a) and leave the rim to support the rest of the stack (although it is supporting itself from the top too but nice to have the extra support) there is still room to fit the radiator inbetween the 2 rims.

not only that but you can also have a radiator on the top (as shown). But Im not getting paid to promote the cosmos so I'll leave it at that lol

I have just got a cosmos too - one of the nicest most solid builds I've come across, it's really well crafted.

PSU being at the bottom is a bonus too, all the hot air gets blown out through the bottom of the case.

If you want an external radiator, then there's a couple of tube holes next to the back-plate.

are you gonna water cool it? I havent seen anyone sticking a radiator on the bottom of it yet although I will be. I'll have to stick up a review when I have it.

btw monkey, someone posted on the review for the motzart that they have 2cm radiators in their motzart and still have room so you should be fine.

yup, that's the plan.

I'm not 100% decided on whether to use an external enclosure though. Although, lack of room under my table might be an issue :D

How large is your radiator? There's a certain amount of space infront of the drive bays if you cut away the middle floor. Also there's about 2 1/2 inches of space inside the top air-duct (and maybe half that at the bottom)

=elz=

My case thread (dont want to be taking up the dudes thread lol)

if you get an external enclosure it means wiring out of the box which means your room will look messy, even if your enclosure is behind your desk its going to be a pain untangling the wires just to get to it. if its visible its just going to look messy. and if its ontop of your computer its just going to look daft. especially if the colours dont match lol

I mounted my rad at the bottow underside of my case, its the perfect place when you think about it, cold air in the bottom hot out the top, this way your rad gets the coldest air it can. Also looks very tidy.
