I'm looking into getting a new WC setup and was wondering what the best case would be?

Looking to bolt a triple rad to the roof so needs to be spacious, everything must be pre-drilled also, not really a DIY type person, so dont want to be drilling holes lol

Any ideas anyone? :)

I use to have a chieftech dragon with a 3 x 120mm strapped to the outside but I had to drill holes into the lid to mount it and feed the pipes through but to be honest even my missus could have do that so its not difficult. I have now got a coolermaster stacker (original not the smaller 830)but the rad is in the bottom but its a little cramped, you cant get much bigger than this for a desktop...weighs a ton as well....

always going to have to mod the case in some way, it comes with the territory :o

External mounting can be down but if you are gonna turn the rad upside down, you really should get one with a bleed valve so you dont get air locks.

if you have a 120mm case fan mount point at the back of your case above the CPU then that is a good place to stick a single 120 X 120 rad... as I have done...
However, anything bigger will need 'special' mounting...

Alternitively,
1) Mount rad on outside wall...

OR

2) Use a bong....

I've got a Silverstone TJ09 which makes it really easy to get a 120.2 rad in the top with no mods. Really nice case, one of the best out there.

But also comes with a hefty price tag. ;)

I must get round to taking some pics of my TJ09 all watercooled up. . .

I'm thinking of getting one of these but read that the two top fans are too close together to fit a single unit 120.2 rad in - Scan use it as the base for their Triad or something and had to use two separate 120 rads for this reason. I'd be really interested to see how you fitted your water cooling system up. :)

Nah, I have a 120.2 rad up the top sitting lovely. Take out the original fan holders. Just drill some holes in the top mesh, mount the fans through that (with the rad fixed to it obviously!) Job done. ;)

Will have to post some pics on this.

The more pics of your watercooled set up the better - I'm hoping to have all my components within the next two weeks and they would really help my planning ;) :D
