Sigs turned off so I don't know what you're cooling but that pump is not great and the radiator is weak. So long as your heat load is below 150W you should be fine but if you wanted to use this later to cool more than just a cpu, the pump and rad will likely struggle.

Thanks for taking the time to help, its only cooling a AMD x4 620 which dosent need it, im just trying to get my feet wet (exuse then pun) on my 1st watercooling build. I was more worried about barbs and hoses fitting so i just matched 3/8 ID with 3/8 ID barbs :)

You'll be fine with that setup. Barbs and tubing will all fit together fine. You may need some hose clips/cable ties to create a properly tight seal, but not used 3/8" tubing for a while so cant remember sorry. To create a properly tight seal without these I'd say use 1/2" barbs and 7/16" tubing. Creates a very tight seal, but the tubing cant be bent as tightly as 3/8".

As for fluid, you'll probably only need 1 bottle. My current loop uses about 750ml (EK 150 res, GPU, CPU, TFC 120 rad, RS240 rad) so you'll probably use less than that.

As said, pump and rad arent the best but will be fine for your loop, just dont be expecting to go adding in many more blocks, if you do the pump will struggle to push the fluid round and the rad will struggle to get rid of heat fast enough lol.

That rad isnt too bad though, got one in my loop along with a single TFC. Used to have just the RS240 and it cooled an E8400 @ 4.4GHz and my NB very well, never over 70C using IBT. Its a fine rad for a simple loop :)

Good look with your build too, feel free to ask any more questions on here :)

thanks again for helping once i get the hang of it ill get some decent gear an watercool the i7.

changed the hose and barbs to

OcUK Value 7/16" Tubing Blue - 1m
OcUK Value High Flow 1/2" G/14" + O-ring

also from reading ill dump the coolent and get some tesco disilled water, cheaper;)

are these the ones ill need to dip in some boling water to get the tube over the barb?

Yea, i tend to have a mug of hot water next to me, just pop the end of the tube in for a couple of seconds and it goes over the barb, still have to work it on, but its miles easier! Creates a very tight seal after it cools. Ive had to cut the tubing off some of my barbs, was that hard to get off haha
