Hi,

If I need watercooling for my CPU only what's a good option?
my CPU is a:
Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz Socket LGA1156
that has been overclocked to 4.0 GHz

I've never done water cooling before so I'd need the full setup

Thanks for your help

First off, what case do you have and whats your budget?

Although I would normally say go ahead, your CPU is quite old now (though still a good one!) - have you not thought about putting the money towards a newer rig and selling yours? Just a thought, if it's still more than what you need it for then by all means stay where you are. :)

I'm quite low on money and have been upgrading my pc bit by bit, the CPU is currently the only outdated part along with the motherboard.
I was having a few issues with the CPU which is why I overclocked it and now it gets me through everything I need.

I have a CM storm Stryker case.

OFC it will the h100 has been a recognised cooler for quite a while and should keep your processor nice and cool i would suggest that you buy a tube of good thermal paste to go with it tho corsairs one is ok but since you can get a good tube of paste for less than a tenner and it will help LOTS just make sure you clean the old stuff off

If you don't mind a little staining, the best compound for thermal transfer is Liquid Ultra/Pro - myself and many others swear by it. It does stain, however it can be removed with some elbow grease and metal polish. :)
