watercooling GPU, noob question....

Im sure this has probably been asked before, but is there such a thing as a AIO watercooler for GPU's ?

Yep, though you'll have to dig around for an Acellero Hybrid.

Other than that, have a look at the NZXT Kraken and do a google for 'the red mod'.

Do you think a Corsair H55 would be enough to cool an MSI 290 GPU? Or should I up it & go for the H90?

Should be fine, just make sure the unit will reach and fit to the case.
