Watercooling GX2

I would've thought you might have been after the Black Pearl by now instead of modding your current GX2, looks like a great solution. I only noticed it on a British e-tailer the other night, didn't look at the price though (I scare easily.)

Why not just buy a cooler designed for the GX2?
Aquacomputer, Danger Den and Eddy EK all have blocks available or WIP :)

Something along the lines of this....

seems a cheaper alternative if its easy enough to do

it will probably kill your cpu overclock, i know in my scenario it was a bit too extreme,

2 x1900s, cpu and nb.

i cant actually remember how warm the gx2 gets on air, about 65-75 on load?

I was looking at the those, they're about £80/119.90EUR from the manufacturer. And the new ones from Danger Den, don't know the price yet.

40 quid per core.

Doesn't sound bad when you put it like that. :p

I mean a VF 900 is close to thirty!

The EK prototypes look nice, won't be cheap.

First pieces of 7950 GX2 block are in testing right now. Here are some pictures:
Please note that top of the block is made of anodized aluminium.
The real block will have a top made of black acetal (delrin).
