Hi all,

I have a Tai Chi case with the watercooling system that came installed. I am putting an Abit IN9 32x Mobo, 4x Gb Corsair Dominator 8500, XFX 8800GTX, QX6700, into the case.

I have also got the Danger Den 8800GTX block and a DDen Black Ice GTX240 Rad, FluidXP+ Extreme, and Tygon 1/2"ID tubing to go into this setup. Currently the 1/4" tubing goes from the Rad in the case to the GPU and back, to add the setup above to this case what is the best way? i really want to remove the 1/4" easy connectors on the cpu block and the thermaltake rad and change them to 1/2" connectors that way i can use 1/2" tubing all round. Thermaltake are just crap at answering questions, i found the 1/2" connectors on their website but need somewhere in Ireland to get them.

I was going to run the current rad to the cpu and then to the new danger den rad then to the gpu and return to the first rad. The case already has holes etc to expand the current water system and i was going to mount the rad just behind the case.

Does anyone know where i can get the 1/2" connector to change the 1/4" ones on the cpu block.

AFAIK the general order is pump>CPU block>GPU block>Radiator>Pump.

That way the CPU should get the water at its coolest as it hasn't been through the GPU first. In practice however the order doesn't make that much difference.

If you've already got two radiators and plenty of room in your case then I'd get another pump and put the CPU and GPU on separate loops instead of trying to link the whole thing together. That way the CPU temps wont be influenced by the GPU temps and vice versa.

Doesnt really matter what order the loop is in as long as the res is before the pump. My current system goes res>pump>cpu>gpu>rad>res

the current setup is tai-chi Rad - Cpu - taichi rad
I want to add the gpu block and new rad so i was thinking
res - pump - taichi Rad - cpu - dd rad - gpu - taichi rad.

The issue is the tai-chi cpu block has 1/4" connections and i need to change these to 1/2" connections. But i need to know where i can get the correct fittings to fit the cpu block.

The cpu block came with the tai-chi watercooled case

and at the bottom it say it can come with 1/2" fittings but thermaltake never answer so i dont know where to get them or even if i can get them to fit
