If you can get the extra cash I would get a D-tek FuZion CPU waterblock and a Thermochill PA120.2 rad.

All looks good though.

dont think i can stretch that far, its either the D-TEK block or the Thermochill Rad, i have a limit of abut £230 including postage i could maybe stretch to £240, i really want to order it tonight or tommorow so i have something to do over the weekend.

i like the idea of a clear cpu block but i cant seem to find one, its annoying me trying to find anywhere in stock, i keep thinking the DD/EK waterblocks have been discontinued.

i wonder when ocuk will have the DangerDen LGA775 cpu block back in stock.

If you can't do both, then I would strongly suggest the radiator is the best thing to go for.

The reason being that radiators generally aren't easily swapped out.

The thermochills have different dimensions than other radiators, while a CPU block can be switched out relatively easily.

I would avoid the TDX, have a look at the Swiftech Apogee GTX (or even the GT ).

is their any reason for that, Is Acetal better at cooling, lasts longer? something along that lines anyway, i have seen a few videos on youtube that acrylic cpu blocks leaking.

but as im getting non conductive water it will at least be a lot safer.

The TDX was a poor cousin to the Storm blocks that were pretty much the best single core waterblocks you could buy a few years ago. Both have now been surpassed by current blocks like the GTX and FuZion when used on multicore CPUs.

The tops don't make any difference to the cooling, acrylic (or is it acetal can never remember which one) tops can be prone to cracking if you over tighten barbs or fixings.

ok thanks for the imput, the setup currently looks like this now.

Danger Den G1/4 to 1/2" Hose Tail Hi-Flow Barb (x12)
D-TEK FuZion CPU Block Barb - Size: 1/2" Barbs (x1)
Yate Loon D12SL-12 120x120x25 (x2)
Danger Den 1/2" ClearFlex 60 Tubing (6ft) Tell me if thats too much ^_^.
Smoothy Water Anti Corrosion Liquid UV Yellow 1ltr (2ltr)
Danger Den Fillport (Silver) Barb - Size: 1/2" Barbs (x1)
Repack Cooling Slot In Black (x1)
Thermochill PA120.2 120mm Double Radiator (x1)
Laing DDC-1T Pro 10watt Pump with Plexi Top (x1)
Nylon Hose Clamps 16mm - 19mm (x14)

the only trouble is, i cant find anywhere to get the Pump is their a different 10-12w pump with good performance i can get around the same or lower price bracket?

Also whats the best thermal paste to use, i keep hearing Arctic cooling 5 but because it contains silver it may be bad for use with watercooling, any ideas on that?

Shop around and you should be able to get the DDC Ultra which is 18W. Google is your friend!

As for the AS5, I've always used that and had no problems with my loop...

the thing is the 18 watt is about £15 more than the 10 watt version everywhere i look and i went over my budget by getting the thermochill rad and fuzion cpu block.
