Watercooling issues...

Hey guys,

As you may well know im going to be upgrading my loop and whatnot in the very near future. My issue is im very low on cash (im currently moving house as well as having to just pay 3 grands worth of vetinary bills (damn cats!) amonst other things!).

Now im not on a huge wage (NHS, nuff said :p) so to get a few hundred together each month to spend on a card is probably a tall order. I could possibly manage £100 a month, any more than that would be a slight push so obviously this is a monthly effort to get the loop in!

My question for right now is as I will be selling my 2 graphics cards ASAP to renew them with 670s is can my current loop hack it for the time being.

As im short on funds I believe I will be adding only a singular 670 to the loop firstly. Which will go with my CPU. Im currently using a black ice 360 rad with 3 xigmatec fans blowing nicely through it. Also I have a EK Reservoir Combo DCP 4.0.

Would this be sufficient for the time being?

My next purchase would be the second 670 card just so I can add it later when I get better cooling. From there on I think ill either upgrade my rad or get a new one.

Also in regards to that card what block would be better?

I do like the look of the XSPC block but then looks aren't always everything is it...

Actually, looks are everything :p

The blocks perform so similarly that the best option is to go for whichever one you like the looks of best

As for fitting a block to your card, it's easy! :)

If you do decide to fit it yourself, make sure you get an EVGA card as you cna keep your warranty as long as you don't do any physical damage to it :)

EDIT: If you get it at the this week only price, the OcUK tech labs is the better deal tbh

Now you have put doubt in my mind as to whether that card is any good or not... Gah! :p
