Hi all

Really wanting to try Watercooling.

Is there a kit out there where the fittings are already on the hose and can they come with disconnect fittings
Also I'm wanting something that is quiet but powerful and would only be cooling the cpu and my case is a 900d

Any recommendations and cost not an issue

Cheers

youll not find a kit with fittings already applied as theres too many different cases so tube lengths would vary , you want to keep tubing as short as poss, fitting fittings is v easy anyway, just make sure to match ID/OD of both tubing and fitting (especially compression!) quietness depends on the fans youre using, decoupling the pump ect! you really should read all the stickys before jumping in!or just get a h100 or similar

900d is a huge case with lots of potential for wc for your own sake get a better pump than the one included in that kit. (kits perfect otherwise).

I recommend a d5 or laing ddc

What was the reason for doing it individually Cheaper?

just meant i could pick and choose each bit,i ended up getting a d5 pump, xpsc res and fittings, koolance 380i block,200mm rad.my case is a 600t so not a bundle of room like yours.so was a bit limited as to what i could do.youve got a load of choice,i advise you do the research to get whats best for you, theres lots of factors to take into account

Looks good to me :)

Why not get a 480mm rad? Then if in future you want to cool gpu as well you would have enough rad space.

I've got a hwlabs sr1 360mm+480mm with a laing 18w ddc in a xspc res.

YOUR BASKET
1 x OcUK Tech Lab - 18w DDC Pump & EK-DDC X-TOP CSQ Value Combo £79.99
1 x Hardware Labs Black ICE Radiator SR1 360 £69.98
1 x XSPC RayStorm CPU WaterBlock (Intel) £51.98
1 x EK-RES X3 250 Reservoir £51.98
3 x Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm 1850 RPM - 3 Pin £14.98 (£44.94)
2 x XSPC HighFlex Hose 3/8" ID, 5/8" OD, 16/10mm, 2m, Clear £6.49 (£12.98)
8 x XSPC G1/4" to 3/8" ID, 5/8" OD Compression Fitting (Black Chrome) £2.99 (£23.92)
Total : £347.76 (includes shipping : £10.00).

Depends on how much you want to spend.

Only reason I haven't specced an xspc bay res is from my experience (and pain) its an absolute sod to bleed especially in a 900D. (best workout I've had in a while trying to bleed a 900d with a bay res :D)

Sorry I have no clue on quick connect kits :(

Other than they're incredibly expensive and you need to make sure you get both a male and female version.

anyone?

any quick connect kit recommendations

no kits as such just get what you need! as myknight said male and female are required.bit expensive for me too especially as they are not really needed, dont really see the point in them myself but each to their own;)
